Valle Aurina extreme sports

Valle Aurina, the northernmost valley in Italy, is the Mecca of winter and summer extreme sports: rafting, parachuting and hand-gliding. In winter, it’s possible to play snow-rafting and climb on iced waterfalls.  One of the most popular Italy extreme sports in Valle Aurina is rafting; it’s possible to play this sport in this valley from May till October. During a rafting excursion, you can be accompanied by a qualified instruction, but it’s necessary to be able to swim well. Valle Aurina also offers the “snowrafting”, which consists into sitting in a big rubber boat and slide on ski runs at 100 km/h. Alpinism fans can train with Hans Kammerlander, the Messher heir, who was born here.
